Howard Lanning, past-president of the British Cinema and Television Veterans, provides a mini masterclass for those who are interested in the development of sound editing both in film and television. Howard's father was an editor on some of the last silent films in the 1920s Howard's long career in the industry is a template for sound editing. Along the way, he has worked with  many big names in the industry and has anecdotes relating to them and to his work with them.
