David Hamilton (his mother's maiden name) was the son of a Daily Mail journalist.Lived in Sussex during WWII where he lives today. Did sports articles on football when a teenager. Joined the RAF for National Service where he worked for the Forces Radio unit. Joined ATV writing continuity scripts. At TTT (Tyne Tees Television) he worked as an announcer whilst doing other programmes and shows for ABC and Thames Television. Was a regular presenter for Beauty pageants. Brief cameo roles in feature films. Renowned DJ on BBC Radio alongside Tony Blackburn in the early days of music shows on the radio.
