M.R.Watkins – the widow of an Englishman (born 1888) who worked for Bell Telephone laboratories in New York City and was one of the Vitaphone development team. Knew Sam and Harry Warner – installed the Westrex sound system at B and D studios (also Billancourt Studios in Paris, and in Madrid) and designed the sound installation at Denham Studios. ‘Nothing of great moment but a charming lady indeed.’
