Stanley discusses his childhood and family in London's East End community, and his disillusionment with tradition and a growing interest in politics. He covers various political jobs until his wartime call up. Wartime experiences are mentioned and various post-war jobs and then setting up Plato Films to distribute films from Eastern Europe. He talks about his business and the change over from 16mm film to videotape. His hopes for his family and the rest of the world end the interview.
